[edit] What's it?

LJX (current working name) is the new incarnation of LJP, with the framework being re-written from the ground up for optimal speed, portability and compatibility. Whereas LJP was (is) compatible only with PalmOS, the new framework, being portable, will be compatible with a variety of systems, several of which will be launched right away like PalmOS, PSP and x86. Other platforms like GP2X will follow shortly. Not only that, but the emulators themselves are being worked on, focusing on speed and stability.

[edit] What's "x"?

The X in LJX is a blank spot that shall be renamed when the time is appropriate. Suggestions for the name are eXtreme, resurrection, and revolution. The current "official" working name is just the Little John project or the Little John Emulator Collection.

[edit] Who's doing it?

All of the work is currently being made by Tinnus, who started working on LJP in 2005.

[edit] When's it?

Who knows :) It's being worked on though. There is a Proof of Concept for Palm OS in the forums. It has NES, SMS, GG, and a few features. There is no launcher, so you have to edit ini's to launch different games.
