[edit] Little John X
Little John is a complete rewrite of LJP to support more host systems, have more emulated systems, and be faster. Check the Forum for more information.
The project is currently being developed by Tinnus.

[edit] History
LJP started as a NES emulator for the PC by yoyofr. He then ported it to GP32, and in 2004 announced the Zodiac port, called LJZ. It was then ported again to general Palm OS by yoyofr and Tinnus, and renamed LJP. MetaView is now working on LJP, while Tinnus is working on LJX, a complete rewrite to support many platforms.

[edit] Overclocking
Overclocking is running your processor at a higher speed than intended. This gives you more speed, but can ruin your palm. There are a few options for overclocking a Palm device - each with their own advantages and disadvantages regarding things such as cost, compatibility, features, and ease of use.
[edit] License
LJP and LJX are licensed under the GNU GPL, version 2. LJP and LJX are free software. The source code of LJP releases can be obtained with the binaries. Although only binaries of LJX Proof-of-Concept build have been released, the source code can be asked for (in the official forums via a topic or explicit PM to Tinnus) and obtained (in accordance with the GPL license some of the modules are under); this is heavily discouraged however as the code's still being heavily reworked and most of the modules' code are the same as in LJP, so one could get the LJP code instead. "Final" releases will be accompained by proper source code.
